I know Sahko is a mental case but can understand him being a bit PEEVED that he can’t get in this team
5-5-0
Surprised they haven’t included 2 keepers in the 11

It’s often the “West Ham way” to go into these games and pull off a shock result. Here’s going this is one such occasion, however I’m fully expecting a good pasting today, and if we ship a coupe early then it could be an epic.

It’s realistic to think that points v Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea will be very hard to come by.
What happens if we are eating turkey sandwiches on Boxing Day having lost at Bournemouth following defeats at Stoke and at home to Newcastle?
Which isn’t beyond the realms of possibility

Could well be the shortest managerial reign in our history*

* Sir Trev was a caretaker

This will be like the Alamo. We are so bad that Palace are above us now and they lost 8 straight

No Strikers?

Re: ⚽ Man City v West Ham - The Official Match Thread
Moyes has probably instructed not to get out of our half, so why would we need strikers?

Sakho not starting? Carroll and Hernández injured (there’s a surprise) Who is playing up front? I get that we have to park the bus and try and eek something out of this but we aren’t very good any that. I expect to see Martinez figure in this today.

Did we not try this formation at spurs under Sam Allardyce a couple of years back
And win! If I remember correct.

Re: ⚽ Man City v West Ham - The Official Match Thread
Genuine question - Why do our players that are only meant to be out for 1 or 2 games always take longer? And where is James Collins?

Gary Lewin hasn't made a shred of difference has he. We really are beyond help.

I can't believe that I've come up here for this.

tazman - yes we did, but if I remember correctly we tried it again soon after and lost badly.

I fear a heavy defeat today, followed by some crap results before the end of the month, which could well determine our fate.

As Shakespeare pointed out in Hamlet, something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Relegation to the Championship will enable the club to effect a wholesale clear out and bring in players that might be proud to wear the claret and blue, unlike a few of the current shitbags.
Preferably the current owners and Brady will fuck off and allow new owners to bring new hope to the fans.
